This week, my little one is the size of a kumquat. And I'm not really sure what a kumquat is.
As for me, I've been very nauseated this week. On Tuesday, I actually had to run to the bathroom to, well, dry heave. It was delightful. Wednesday and Thursday were rough too, and then this morning I woke up feeling okay for a change, and I was all like, ARE YOU IN THERE, BABY?! BABY?!
And baby promptly answered with a wave of nausea. What a relief.
In other news, I actually lost two pounds somewhere in the past 12 days. I don't really know where they went, what with the Thanksgiving dinner and pumpkin pie, but I'm sure they'll come back soon enough. Truth is, my appetite has been substandard. I also find myself craving salty foods, like popcorn, french fries, and chips. YUM. I hear this is a sign of having a boy. We'll see.
10 weeks down, 30 to go. We're going to make it, baby.

Ask your doctor about using Emetrol. It's an OTC syrup for anti-nausea. My friend used it while in her first trimester when she was super sick. She called it her miracle cure!
Ha! I would just like to say that ... somewhere... on one of your blogs, I've already predicted this is going to be a boy. ;o) The salty-cravings are going to make me think I'm clarvoyant. ;o)
Ahhhhh, morning sickness. It's so unique in that you can feel sick as a dog, vomit, and feel not even a LITTLE BIT BETTER.
Just because you're craving salty foods doesn't necessarily mean it's a boy. I craved salty my whole pregnancy (actually couldn't stand sweet stuff in my 1st trimester) and I'm bakin' a little girl!
Don't worry if your nausea comes and goes, especially now. Mine started to be less consistent and not be a regular thing anymore around 11 weeks. You're almost in the 2nd trimester!
Congrats on the double-digits! :) You are so close to the 2nd tri now. So exciting!!!
I had morning sickness every single morning for both my pregnancies...one girl and one boy...UGH some tricks: sucking on candy canes helped. ginger...ginger ale...crackers (with no salt) water at room temperature (cold water can actually cause stomach muscles to contract and therefore puke)...chewing gum helped...you're almost in 2nd trimester! so exciting! Enjoy it - you will miss it :)
