Today I am 11 weeks, and it also happens to be December 11th. I'm wishing for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy babe.
According to various sources, my little one is either the size of a fig or a lime by now, and already he or she is kicking and stretching. Of course, I can't feel any of it, and I'm not really showing at all, so it's hard to believe that there actually is a life growing in there.
I'm still dealing with the nausea. A friend heard that lemon drops help, so I've been looking all over town for them. I finally found them last night at Cracker Barrel, and you would have thought I'd just found the last golden ticket. I bought all the lemon drops they had and I figure I can start selling lemon drops from my car outside OB offices since they're so hard to find these days.
In other news, I learned that I'll have to apply for short term disability when my little one comes. Benefits will start fifteen days after I leave, and then I'll receive 60% of weekly earnings for six weeks maximum (unless there are complications). As for how much I'll be working when I return, that is still to be determined. I will not be working full-time, that much I know.
11 weeks. Keep growing, little one.

Try Preggie Pops.. They saved me in my 1st trimester! :D
Oh yeah Preggie Pops were so helpful!!! I preferred the lemon flavored ones though. Drinking lemonade helped too.
Congrats!! And has your doctor recommended unisom/b6 combination? That helped me tremendously!! I was still sick until 16 weeks though :(
I got nauseous a lot even before I got pregnant (I am severely motion sick). How does ginger work for you? I like the Ginger Chews by The Ginger People (they sell them at Trader Joe's). Not only does the ginger settle my stomach--having something to chew on distracts me from the nausea...
My pregnancy-related nausea just set in and I tried Preggie Pops for the first time today. It seemed to do the trick. Good luck!
Aw, I'm sorry you're still feeling so nauseous. Mine was very inconsistent to begin with, but after week 12, it never came back. Here's hoping that yours doesn't stick around too much longer, either! :)
By the way, I nominated you for an award on my blog, because I love reading yours so much. :)
